We always serve the good stuff, that we want to eat and drink ourselves. As well as celebrating our increasingly-vibrant British food culture, the focus on seasonal ingredients means we buy the best stuff when it’s at the best price. All our chicken, eggs and pork are free-range. Our lamb is Cornish and most of our native fish is landed from coastal day-boats
We love being a real pub as well as a great Gastropub. We have a range of Continental beers as well as local ales, and we are serious about our spirits and cocktails too. Our wine is supplied from three multi award-winning suppliers, each with its own specialities, allowing us to pack our list with a great range of top-quality and interesting wines.

Head chef, Ian Meek, has devised a seasonal gastropub menu using top-quality British produce and a range of tempting daily specials. There are lots of great places to eat in Birmingham these days, but our food and drink is certainly some of the best in the city.
